Ruby Road Townhouse
— The first project of its kind in the Sutherland shire council.
The land was underside (council required 1200m²) to build 3 townhouses. However through design excellence, and proving to Council that two houses would take up the same footprint as three townhouses, the proposal was endorsed and approved by Council.
The design was to create a modern cosmopolitan space, filled with natural light while referencing materials and finishes which were in the Locality. The three townhouses consist of open living, dining and lounge areas, with powder room and one dry on ground level.
Level 1 has three bedrooms with two bathrooms. Tandem two-car garages were designed as a way to comply with councils requirement and reduce the garage frontage impact to the street.
The client was extremely satisfied with the outcome, as they achieved something which was over and above their expectation. The project was completed in 2011, with a project value of 1.1mil.
